Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's children - was born at Woodland Hills in 1956. Her father worked as a school teacher and her mother as an at-home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two older brothers. Beginning at a very early stage of life, McCormick was a singer as well as dance. She would also present puppet shows to kids in the community. After winning her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 an old Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see whether McCormick was interested in getting involved in the industry of entertainment. McCormick got her first big work in 1964, as she acted in a television commercial for Mattels newest doll Baby Pattaburp. The following year she appeared in an additional firm's Chatty Cathy Doll and was immediately chosen to play the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the role of the youngest daughter of the three towheaded girls on The Brady Bunch. The show featured Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. The show lasted five seasons. McCormick revealed the story Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick was close to losing her Virginity to Barry Williams during the five-year duration on the program. He was 19 years old. She was 16. The woman said it might have been feasible, but it was never the best time to do it.
