
A Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress producer, writer and actress. Davis started her acting career at the age of three years old and was a part of various television commercials. Davis was an episode regular while she was just a child on the popular TV series, Charles In Charge. The show was rated the number one on syndication. Josie received three nominations for the highly coveted Youth In FIlm Award, which she won in her role as Sarah Powell. When she was an adult and a actor in many television series, Davis received the two Lifetime Movie Network awards. Although she had the option of entering USC's prestigious creative writing course, Davis determined to pursue performing, pursuing a rigorous course with Paul E Richards. Paul E Richards for twenty years. Davis was 24 when she auditioned to be an actor in the Hollywood elite group, Shelley Winters Mark Rydell Martin Landau. Following only one audition Davis was accepted into the renowned Actors Studio as a member with privileges to work, and later was made a Lifetime Member following a request for a callback. Davis was one of two actors who were accepted into the Actors Studio at the time.
